In three hours time, the Red Jackalope production team shall engage Portland’s naively hopeful contenders in a 48 hour filmmaking grudge match. We’re dedicating our first hour of the competition to building a mantelshelf just to hold the trophy.
We have just finished moving our corporate headquarters and editing studio to an undisclosed location in the greater Portland area. We feel this move will allow us the freedom to truly make whatever we please. While we don’t have the same flexibility as our proposed studios in the non-extradition country of Montenegro, we will be saving millions of dollars each year in airfare and sunblock by staying in Portland.
Our engineering department has breathed life into an intricate system of sprockets and pulleys (the PVC piping and rabbit fur was a failure) and has pieced together a web presence for actor Joshua Sawtell. Red Jackalope will soon be offering our services to the general public.
Our team of monkeys has finished the shooting draft of the script for Lucid and has begun the first stages of pre-production.
The Red Jackalope production team is currently filming the feature How to Kill Your Boss.
